Overview : RIM’s next platform, the BlackBerry 10 OS is due to be launched on 30 January.RIM’s new range of device will see a completely revamped OS and new touch-screen devices with no QWERTY keypads and according to RIM’s Vice President for Developer Relations, the company has received nearly 15,000 apps for its new BlackBerry 10 store.

RIM has also claimed that user response to the new devices was very positive.Bryan Lee, senior enterprise accounts director for the company told Reuters that more than 1,600 customers in North America had registered for its recently launched BlackBerry 10 Ready Program and more than a thousand were actively using the program, which offers customers access to services, information and tools to ease their transition to the BlackBerry 10 and the BlackBerry enterprise server 10.
